The goal of Azhom is to become an encyclopedia of all information one needs in order to purchase or rent a property or an office as well as of the information related to investing in the Stock Markets, with an accent on the Middle East.

Azhom was created in January 2006 by two expats which learnt the hard way all about the Real Estate and Stock Market in the Middle East.

With the intention of becoming the most informative and free, up to date collection of reference material we seek to provide a site that helps clarify the particularities of investing in the Middle East. Our most basic intentions are to stimulate public debate, and to provide a single-source information point. Other goals are to: provide an introduction to the real estate and stock markets in the Middle East and especially in the UAE; describe the basics regarding potential difficulties or draw backs in the markets; educate the general reader.

The different sections contain a vast area of notes and researches destined to satisfy the demand of useful information starting from opening an account to picking up the right shares or from selecting a property to financing it and finally moving in. Hopefully, we will be able to help people waste less time searching for what they need.
